2300–2400 MHz 8 dBi 360° Fiberglass Omni Antenna, 700 mm, Pole Mount Kit, Gray, KSANT-12375-A

The 2300–2400 MHz block is where a growing share of small-cell, private LTE and 2.3 GHz broadband traffic actually lands, and the demand for antennas that cover it evenly in every direction has never been higher. Network planners are constantly challenged to serve a housing estate, a logistics yard or a campus from one pole, on a band where subscribers sit at every bearing and there is nothing to aim at. The solution lies in slim fiberglass omni antennas that put a round, predictable pattern on the horizon from a single mount. We are proud to introduce the 2300–2400 MHz 8 dBi 360° Fiberglass Omni Antenna, model KSANT-12375-A, a 700 mm linear-polarized radiator engineered for LTE Band 40 small cells, private 2.3 GHz networks and point-to-multipoint broadband links.

This antenna represents a practical balance between pattern quality, physical size and installation simplicity. Its core advantage is the format: a single 700 mm radome at 20 mm diameter, weighing 0.27 kg, finished in gray, delivered with a pole clamp kit for 30–50 mm masts and terminated in an N-type connector. The band is covered from 2300 to 2400 MHz at 50 Ohm with VSWR <2.0, peak gain runs 7.4–8.5 dBi, and the horizontal pattern is a full 360° with out-of-roundness specified at ±1 dB. Efficiency is around 72%, power handling is 50 W, and the element is DC grounded for lightning protection. It is the practical choice where one slim antenna has to cover everything that can see the pole.

Technical Excellence: The Core Advantage

The antenna's performance rests on three pillars: an unusually round horizontal pattern, vertical gain kept on the horizon, and a mounting and feed arrangement that makes a one-person installation realistic.

360° Coverage with ±1 dB Roundness

An omni antenna is only as good as its roundness, and this design specifies it at ±1 dB, tighter than most products in its class. The chamber report goes further: measured out-of-roundness is 0.22 dB at 2300 MHz, 0.38 dB at 2350 MHz and 0.85 dB at 2400 MHz. In practice that means a subscriber at the north face of a building gets substantially the same signal as one at the east, so capacity planning does not have to absorb a pattern that quietly favours one direction. It also means the site can be installed without a compass bearing: there is no preferred azimuth to get wrong.

7.4–8.5 dBi from a 700 mm Radome

Peak gain is specified at 7.4–8.5 dBi, and the chamber measurements track it closely: 7.4 dBi at 2300 MHz rising to 8.4 dBi at 2320 MHz and settling near 8 dBi across the rest of the band, with efficiency between 64.7% and 75.5%. The vertical beamwidth is 9–12°, deliberately narrow: the energy forms a flat disc on the horizon instead of spreading up into the sky and down into the ground, which is what turns a 700 mm radome into usable horizontal reach. The radome is 20 mm in diameter and 0.27 kg in weight, so it reads as a slim whip rather than a panel and can be carried up a ladder by one installer. Glass fibre reinforced plastic holds its shape and its electrical behaviour through UV, rain and the −45 °C to +85 °C operating range, and the gray finish keeps the antenna visually quiet on a pole. Rated wind velocity is 36.9 m/s.

VSWR <2.0, 50 W Handling and a Complete Pole Mount Kit

The specified match is VSWR <2.0 across 2300–2400 MHz, and the stored trace marks 1.59 at 2300 MHz, 1.46 at 2350 MHz and 1.78 at 2400 MHz, with return loss of 12.8 dB, 14.5 dB and 11.0 dB at those points. That keeps a 2.3 GHz radio at its top modulation step instead of dropping back because of reflections at the band edges. Maximum power is 50 W, the honest figure for a small-cell, private network or subscriber-side antenna; this is not a 200 W macro-site product and should not be specified as one. The radiating element is DC grounded, so static charge built up by wind and precipitation drains to the mast rather than down the coax into the receiver. The mounting hardware is part of the delivery, not an afterthought: a clamp plate, two U-bolts and M8 nuts, washers and spring washers sized for 30–50 mm poles. The assembly is qualified by a ≥20 N pull force test, a 1 m drop test, vibration from 10–55 Hz at 0.35 mm displacement and 50.0 m/s² over 30 sweep cycles, and voltage resistance of 1.5 kV insulation, 1.5 kV sheath and 0.5 kV insulation-to-sheath. The product is RoHS compliant.

Versatile Application Scenarios

The combination of a round pattern, 8 dBi and a complete clamp kit makes this antenna useful wherever one pole has to serve clients at every bearing.

LTE Band 40 and Private Networks

Band 40 small cells: one omni covers a housing block, a retail strip or a factory floor without sector overlap, which is exactly what a single-carrier 2.3 GHz site needs.

Private LTE and campus networks: industrial parks, ports and mines run private 2.3 GHz networks where users move in every direction, and a round pattern keeps handover zones predictable around the site.

2.3 GHz Broadband and Point-to-Multipoint

WISP subscriber and relay nodes: 8 dBi on the horizon plus a clean 50 Ohm match gives usable margin at the edge of a 2.3 GHz cell, on a radome that mounts to an existing pole.

Building-to-building and estate links: an omni at the hub with small units at the spokes is a simpler, more change-tolerant topology than point-to-point pairs at every node.

Pole-Mounted and Unattended Sites

Street poles and light masts: the 30–50 mm clamp kit fits the poles most councils and landlords actually provide, so installation does not need a fabricated bracket.

Warehouse, yard and utility telemetry: the −45 °C to +85 °C range, DC grounding and 36.9 m/s wind rating suit sites where the antenna is installed once and left running for years.

Conclusion: The Future of Slim 2.3 GHz Omni Coverage

The 2300–2400 MHz 8 dBi 360° Fiberglass Omni Antenna, KSANT-12375-A, is more than a passive component. It is the part that decides whether a 2.3 GHz site covers a district or one street corner. By holding out-of-roundness to ±1 dB across a full 360°, concentrating 7.4–8.5 dBi into a 9–12° vertical beam, and covering 2300–2400 MHz at 50 Ohm with VSWR <2.0, it gives planners a footprint they can predict before the site survey. The 700 mm radome at 20 mm diameter, 0.27 kg weight and included 30–50 mm clamp kit make installation a one-person job, while 50 W handling, DC grounding, ≈72% efficiency and a −45 °C to +85 °C range state its limits up front. For any 2.3 GHz deployment that needs one slim antenna to serve everything in sight, this antenna is the practical choice.
