433 MHz 9 dBi Yagi Antenna, Stainless Steel, N-Female, Yagi0009

The 433 MHz band is the workhorse band for LoRa, wireless data links and trunking, and the demand for a directional antenna that reaches a specific point has never been higher. Site planners are constantly challenged to point a link at a distant receiver instead of broadcasting the energy in every direction, because every watt sent sideways is a watt wasted. The solution lies in a directional Yagi that concentrates the energy on the target. We are proud to introduce the 433 MHz 9 dBi Yagi Antenna, model Yagi0009, a stainless steel directional radiator engineered for 433 MHz LoRa, wireless data transmission and trunking.

This antenna represents a practical answer to a point-to-point link: a 940×355×80 mm stainless steel Yagi with 9 dBi gain, a front-to-back ratio of at least 18 dB, and an N-female connector on a 30 cm cable. The band is centered at 433 MHz with ±3 MHz bandwidth, the match is VSWR under 2.0, and the beamwidth is 40° horizontal and 44° vertical. Power handling is 50 W, the element is DC grounded, and the build is rated for wind of 60 m/s across an operating range of −40 °C to +70 °C. It is the practical choice where one 433 MHz link has to reach a distant point on a mast.

Technical Excellence: The Core Advantage

The antenna's performance rests on three pillars: directional gain, a stainless steel build, and a real beamwidth for aiming.

9 dBi Directional Gain with 18 dB Front-to-Back Ratio

A Yagi's value is directionality. This model delivers 9 dBi gain at 433 MHz, which concentrates the energy into a beam instead of broadcasting it in every direction. The front-to-back ratio is at least 18 dB, which means the power going backward is at least 18 dB lower than the power going forward. That is what a point-to-point link actually needs: the energy lands on the target instead of leaking to the sides. The horizontal beamwidth is 40° and the vertical beamwidth is 44°, which is a tight enough beam to aim at a distant mast while still allowing for mounting tolerance.

A Stainless Steel Build for Outdoor Masts

The whole radiator is made of stainless steel, which is the honest choice for an outdoor Yagi. Stainless steel resists rust, salt spray and UV, and it does not need paint or coating to survive on a pole. The wind resistance rating is 60 m/s, which is higher than a typical fiberglass omni, because a Yagi has wind load and the directors have to hold their shape. The operating temperature is −40 °C to +70 °C, which covers cold winter sites and hot rooftop summers. The antenna mounts on a pole of Ø30–Ø50 mm, and the mounting hardware is part of the box.

A 30 cm Cable with an N-Female Connector

The antenna is fed by a 30 cm cable terminated with an N-female connector, the standard threaded interface on a mast. The short cable leaves the feeder to be connected directly at the mount, which keeps the RF path short and avoids extra connector loss. The element is DC grounded so static charge drains to the mast. The match is VSWR ≤2.0 across the 430–436 MHz band, and maximum power is 50 W, which covers 433 MHz LoRa gateways, wireless data links and trunking radios. The antenna weighs 1.5 kg, which is light enough for one person to install on a pole but rigid enough to hold the directors in shape.

Versatile Application Scenarios

The combination of 9 dBi gain, an 18 dB front-to-back ratio and a stainless steel build makes this antenna useful wherever a 433 MHz link has to reach a specific point.

LoRa gateways and point-to-point links: a Yagi points the energy at a distant gateway, which extends the range compared with an omni on the same transmitter power.

Wireless data transmission: telemetry, industrial and agricultural data links use a directional Yagi to reach a specific receiver on a farm or a pipeline.

400 MHz SCDMA and Trunking

400 MHz SCDMA and wireless access systems: the Yagi covers the 433 MHz sub-band with a directional beam, which is what a sector or a point-to-point link needs.

Wireless trunking communication: public-safety and utility trunking systems use a Yagi to reach a specific site instead of broadcasting the energy in every direction.

Outdoor Pole and Tower Installations

Pole and tower mounts: the stainless steel build and 60 m/s wind rating suit outdoor masts that have to survive weather without maintenance.

Rural and remote sites: the 9 dBi gain gives usable margin at the edge of a 433 MHz link, on a mast that mounts to an existing pole.

The 433 MHz 9 dBi Yagi Antenna, Yagi0009, is more than a passive component. It is the part that turns a broadcast into a beam. By delivering 9 dBi gain with an 18 dB front-to-back ratio on a 40° by 44° beam, handling 50 W behind an N-female connector on a 30 cm cable, and building the whole radiator in stainless steel rated for 60 m/s wind, it gives site planners a directional tool they can aim at a specific point. The 940×355×80 mm size, 1.5 kg weight, −40 °C to +70 °C operating range and pole mount of Ø30–Ø50 mm state its limits up front. For any 433 MHz deployment that needs a directional link to a specific receiver, this Yagi is the practical choice.
